● Qualified Medical Doctor with more than 20 years of progressively responsible experience in large, multi-year international health sector development programs in programmatic management and prevention, care and treatment management of HIV/AIDS, TB, Malaria, COVID-19, and RMNCH ● Proven track record in managing partnerships with various stakeholders such as USAID, PEPFAR, CDC, DOD, PMI, DfID, and the Global Fund. ● Public Health Manager with in-depth programming experience providing strategic leadership, vision, technical strategy, results, documentation, communication, compliance and risk management in project management. ● Demonstrated subject-matter expertise in health service delivery, service quality improvement, behaviour change communications, capacity building, and monitoring and evaluation. ● Well-versed in strengthening health and public sector pharmaceutical systems by improving governance, capacity building, information systems, financing, health service delivery, supply chain management, organizational development, financial management, strategic planning, and human resources management. ● Experience in public health in developing and transitional countries, managing health projects' operational and organizational aspects, including staff supervision and oversight of operational procedures and policies. ● Master Trainer with Knowledge of clinical training skills, instructional design for training, blended learning, facilitation, coaching, mentorship, and supportive supervision of healthcare professionals to improve the quality of delivery of health services. ● Strong competence in developing results frameworks and performance monitoring plans to ensure timely, accurate, and appropriate documentation and reporting program activities and results to the donors. ● Excellent proposal and report writing skills with hands-on experience in developing and monitoring work plans and activity budgets. ● Exceptional communication and influencing skills. Persuasive, credible, and polished communicator with excellent interpersonal and multidisciplinary project skills. ● Demonstrated ability to develop and communicate a shared vision among diverse partners and the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams. ● Proven track record in building and maintaining relationships with senior-level colleagues, particularly interacting productively, proactively, and comfortably with government agencies, NGOs, private sector groups, and donor organizations. ● Demonstrated strategic agility, diplomacy, conflict management, team building, cross-cultural communication, active listening, and negotiation skills. ● Experience supervising and leading technical staff in the implementation of various health projects. ● Commitment to diversity and inclusion, valuing different perspectives and encouraging contributions by all team members who are geographically dispersed. ● Ability to work under pressure and in demanding and complex environments.
