Key qualifications: • 11+ years general professional experience in Asia (most of the time in China with short missions to Thailand, Korea, Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia and the Philippines) • 7 years leading teams of up to 3-15 persons in public and privately funded projects related to key priority areas of EU and of mutual interest in Korea such as culture or international trade. • Excellent communicator, capable of trust-building in an international environment, especially between Europe and Asia. Outstanding oral and written communication, facilitation and presentation skills. • Highly skilled in analysis and diplomacy, honed throughout her international career. • Highly skilled in reporting and article drafting, including reports for other European Union’s funded projects. • Highly skilled in people management skills proven by the ability to lead, motivate and manage multi-cultural teams from Europe and Asia delivering high-quality results, surpassing targets and creating a highly motivated environment. • Experience in EU policy and actions in fields covered by the project such as security, human rights and social issues, trade and economy, climate change and energy. • European research and innovation policies experience (Portugal 2020, Norte 2020, Horizon 2020).
