Summary

I am an Oxford University-educated copy editor, proofreader and writer with 11 years’ experience in the aid/international development sector. I have deep and broad skills in all aspects of English-language copy editing, proofreading and writing. I work efficiently and thoroughly to ensure clients get the clear, impactful and error-free written output they need, when they need it. Clients I work for include Tetra Tech/Management Systems International (MSI), the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), the Gates Foundation, the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO), Abt Global, Oxford Policy Management (OPM), FHI 360, Verian (Kantar), the Institute of Development Studies (IDS), hera, Itad, the Emergency Nutrition Network, and Ricardo. I am highly valued by the clients whose output I edit, which is why most of them return time after time. I enjoy fulfilling the entire range of client needs, from editing and writing high-impact text (such as bids/proposals and executive summaries that will be read by funders) to ensuring all of the small details (like referencing and section numbering) are in place and serve the greater whole. I’m keenly aware of the need to solve the challenges that hold back people’s ability to build a better life for themselves, and I’m passionate about using the power of words to contribute to inclusive development that leaves no one behind.
