Dr. Asror Nazirov is an economic development and project management specialist with 33 years of experience, including 16 years of progressively responsible work experience on donors funded Agricultural projects in Uzbekistan and Central Asia. Dr. Nazirov is currently the Deputy Chief of Party on the USAID funded Agricultural Value Chain Project which helps to horticulture development in Uzbekistan, supports farmers to increase yield of their orchards and improve quality of fruits and grapes. He is responsible for assisting COP in providing technical, managerial and administrative oversight, including the direct supervision of the project’s activities: training programs on fruit trees cultivation, harvesting and post-harvest handling; setting up demonstration plots; organizing exchange programs, developing farmer manuals etc.
