Cathy Mungall-Baldwin

I am an Applied Social and Behavioural Scientist, Public Health Specialist (PhD Anthropology, Oxford; MPH, UNSW), and former BBC World Service broadcast journalist. I work on applied research, policy, M&E, Health Impact Assessments, and practical applications of research and analysis, and publish research in books/ journals. I cover the behavioural, social, cultural, psychological and public health aspects of global climate resilience and adaptation, social and urban development, environment/sustainability, ICTs, gender and social inclusion, human rights, public health especially infectious diseases, mental health and environmental health. Current and recent projects: - disability specialist (lived experience) on an evaluability assessment of FCDO/UNDIS/UNPRPD's Disability Capacity Building Programme (DCBP). - lead author of an official report for the International Organization for Migration (IoM/UN Migration) on migrants' exposure to air pollution, perceptions and behaviours. UN Research and Action Network, member of the working group on Disabilities, Intersectionalities and Socioecocontract. - Panel Member, UK FCDO's EQUALS Quality Assurance in Evaluation. • Book: Social Sustainability, Climate Resilience and Community-Based Urban Development: What about the People? I am based in Edinburgh, Scotland, UK and work remotely with travel.
