I am a capacity building specialist with over 6 years of progressive experience in programme and administration management working in culturally diverse international organizations such as U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) Local Impact Governance Project and Family Health International (FHI360). Expertise in capacity building interventions and provision of technical assistance to deliver project strategies. Other knowledge includes U.S. legislation relating to development assistance and USAID regulations, procedures, and policies. Additionally, I am well versed in designing, planning, developing, implementing, coordinating, monitoring, and evaluating local governance capacity building activities that involve partner province and district civil service and elected officials, Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development (MLGRD), Decentralization Secretariat, Line Ministry service providers, traditional leaders, private sector entities, civil society/ faith based organizations (CSOs/ FBOs) and local citizens (including women, youth, people living with disabilities and disadvantaged communities) I am proficient in the use of DAI systems such as TAMIS (Pro and Classic) and Integrated information Management System – DAI collect and able to adapt to use new specialist systems. Further, I possess analytical and problem – solving skills with the ability to provide leadership and make well thought out decisions and provide policy guidance to colleagues. Exceptional verbal and written interpersonal skills, a collaborative style and able to communicate effectively at all levels. I am a quick, and willing learner with a proven track record in consistency, accuracy, and effectively upholding the integrity of the Technical Office. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration from Mulungushi University, and I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Business Administration specializing in Project Management (Stage IV) at The University of Zambia. Further, I have obtained an advanced level training in Visibly Improvement Services (VIS) framework.
