Dr. Chesta Sharma is a PhD in Health Systems Studies (from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai) with expertise in Systems Strengthening & Health Reforms, Strategy Design, Stakeholder Management, Project Management, Systems Research & Evaluation, and Knowledge Management. In her professional career of over 12 years, she has successfully led & managed complex assignments for a varied set of stakeholders in public, private & development sector. She brings in sectoral experience from Health (Public & Private); WASH, Nutrition, Digital Health, Gender, and Social Inclusion. She has work experience with all levels of administration in the public sector, including community and relevant structures. I am an expert in internal & external stakeholder management including consensus building, negotiations, and partnerships’ creation. She is well versed with creating critical documents – proposals, opportunity briefs, pitch documents, business investment cases, monetizable products & services, and technical reports. She actively participates in knowledge management – internally (for organizations) through relevant documentation; and externally through journal articles, thought leadership, etc. She brings in field (project experience) from all states in India, and South Asian countries like Nepal, Bangladesh & Sri Lanka. She also brings in global experience through agencies that provides advisory & implementation expertise in Asia & Africa and for their Global Headquarters. Her recent experience as an independent consultant has been largely focused on impact evaluations with organizations like USAID, CARE, PATH, NITI Aayog, Consulting Firms, and International NGOs.
