Christine Ouellette has over 30 years’ experience, specializing in gender equality; the empowerment of women and girls; women, peace, and security; addressing sexual and gender-based violence in humanitarian and conflict settings; humanitarian response; accountability to affected populations; governance; community engagement & development, with a strong focus on gender equality programming in emergencies, intersectoral and intersectional gender equality assessments (GBA+), capacity development, and program management. Christine, an active member of the IASC Gender Standby Capacity Project (GenCap), brings extensive experience in bridging policies and operations; monitoring, evaluation, and learning; multi-stakeholder processes, working with the UN, civil society organizations, bilateral organizations, development banks, senior government officials, and the private sector.
