Emmanuelle has 17 years of substantial experience advising corporations, multilateral agencies, governments and civil society organizations operating in emerging markets and conflict areas on human rights, social risks assessments, business resilience and evaluations in peacebuilding, peacekeeping, transnational organized crime and security sector reform programmes. Advised on: Business operating environments and compliance requirements, Corporate Social Responsibility strategies, Human rights risks, and impact assessments, VPHRS, and community engagements strategies, conflict sensitivity programming and strategies for Peacebuilding projects. She brings research and evaluation team leadership experience to any assignment and knowledge of a variety of qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis tools. Emmanuelle’s clients include UNODC, UNDP, UNHCR, UNPBF, UNITAR, The Egyptian Investment Promotion Agency, the Jordan Investment Board, the Arab League, Rio Tinto Plc, Anglo American, BG Group Plc, Imerys, Mineral San Cristobal, several governmental bodies (West Africa, Indonesia, and Egypt), and Interpol. She has published several country-reports on Egypt, Greece, and Jordan in Newsweek Special Davos Editions, Foreign Policy, and Business Week. She teaches Law and Human Rights at the University Blanquerna in Barcelona. A dual French and American national, Emmanuelle is fluent in English, French, Spanish, and colloquial Egyptian Arabic. She holds two Masters degrees (International Security Studies and International law and public administration) and two BAs (Public and International Law and Foreign Civilizations).
