A qualified accountant and tax adviser, I have more ten years’ experience in the origination of leads, preparation of proposals and negotiation of donor-funded programmes for private-sector development. I have been actively engaged in raising more than (with an annual mobilisation of around EUR50m), with several multiples of this amount raised in terms of financial instruments (direct investment and credit lines, risk mitigation) in support of specific development programmes. The role involves extensive coordination of fundraising efforts across locations, internal departments, stakeholders and donors. Beyond fundraising, my role is to lead the overall financial management and control of all donor funds, within a team responsible for the EBRD’s SME advisory operations. This covers a EUR250m active portfolio of donor funds, across 30 countries, 40 offices, 100+ bank accounts.
