My academic and professional training coupled with my professional experience of over 16 years successively in positions of " Monitoring and Evaluation Responsible/ Research Assistant , Executive chief officer within a Consulting company, Assistant and Advisor to Managing Director in Project and Performance Management, Head of Planning and Budgeting, Head of the Monitoring and Evaluation Department, Senior Management Controller (including Public Contracts Control), Research Assistant (having done publication), Teacher in high schools and colleges in economics and mathematics " whose skills are strongly oriented towards performance of organizations, allowed me to build my current profile of " Statistician-Econometrician / Health Economist / Project Manager / Specialist in Planning-Monitoring-Evaluation" ". As a project and program Manager, initially Economist, apart from my usual areas of expertise, I am very comfortable in situational analysis (diagnosis) or feasibility studies, strategic (and operational) management, results-based management (RBM), development of sectoral development strategy documents etc. My skills coupled with my leadership and co-ordination capacity make me capable of planning and budgeting (or programming), developing, strengthening or implementing and managing the monitoring and evaluation system that shall be favorable to the accountability and learning activities. As a Statistician-Econometrician, I personally participate in and carry out socio-economic surveys and research missions, and I master various software, statistical and econometric methods, financial programming tools, macroeconomic modeling and forecasting tools and techniques. These tools and techniques enhance my ability to carry out complex evaluations of public policies, including impact assessments. Although most of my experiences have been capitalized in the marine sector, I was early interested in the "health sector". I have developed over the last six years, as a Health Economist, my skills in economic analysis, costing and budgeting, economic and financial analysis of investments, medico-economic assessments of health interventions / policies, strengthening of health systems, Analysis of the performance of funding mechanisms for health financing schemes etc. Certified in Epidemiology, I am very passionate about field epidemiology, in its investigation and surveillance aspects.
