I hold a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and a Master's degree in Human Rights from Ibero-American University in Mexico City. As a dual national of Mexico and Bosnia, I bring over 20 years of experience in the field of human rights. Most recently, I served as Chief of Party for the USAID-funded Human Rights Accountability Activity (RED-DH) implemented by Chemonics International from August 2020 to March 2025. In this role, I managed a significant budget of $24,360,922.51 USD and led initiatives focused on human rigths in Mexico. My professional journey includes extensive experience working with NGOs, notably spending nearly four years at Tlachinollan, one of Mexico's most important human rights organizations, located in the southern state of Guerrero. Prior to this, I worked in academia at the Human Rights Program of Universidad Iberoamericana and served as an advisor on human rights topics in Congress.
