I am an international development manager with over 14 years of experience in project management, business development, project design, and project implementation. I have demonstrated expertise working on projects focused on economic growth, positive youth development (PYD), at-risk youth, and workforce development in addition to gender and youth analyses and integration, education programs, and strategic partnership building. I have demonstrated work experience in improving business enabling environment (BEE), reducing barriers to trade, improving financial sector stability, increasing access to finance, improving competitiveness through vale chains, and trade promotion. I have 10 years of experience implementing projects funded by USAID and the Millenium Challenge Corporation. I am currently serving as the Chief of Party and Home Office Project Manager of the $21m USAID Economic Development, Governance, and Enterprise Growth (EDGE) project with International Development Group, LLC (IDG). In this role, I oversee the implementation of all technical activities on both the Core Component and the Buy-In Component that has included six Buy-In Activities including: the Armenia BEE Activity; the Promoting Regional Integration Through Networking and Cooperation Activity (PRINC); the Albania Support for Private Sector (SPS) Activity; the Moldova Competitiveness Transition Activity (MCTA); the Ukraine Investment Potential (IPA) Activity; and the Investment Transparency Activity (ITA) Buy-In. I provide technical and operational management of the Core and Buy-In Activities including providing daily support and management of country teams, overseeing budget and financial management and recruitment of staff, and contributing to technical activities and deliverables, including activity reports and other deliverables. In this role, I also oversaw projects and activities focused on the integration of gender and youth into USAID project implementation and country and activity level strategies, both as a prime implementer and in a sub-contractor role. For example, I provided technical leadership on youth integration and PYD on the Feed the Future Ethiopia Value Chain Activity that improved agricultural productivity and commercialization of smallholder farmers in four regions of Ethiopia. The activity emphasized increasing nutrition-sensitive productivity of targeted value chains inclusive of women and youth; making market systems and trade more inclusive; and improving the BEE in the agriculture sector. I have in-country work experience in Argentina, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Honduras, India, Jordan, Moldova, North Macedonia, Serbia, and Uganda. I hold a Master of Arts in Sustainable Development with a focus in International Policy and Management from the SIT Graduate Institute and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a focus in International Studies from the University of Tulsa.
