Summary

Retired executive and seasoned professional with over 33 years working in the Canadian federal government, complemented by recent consulting/advisory experience working in the development sector in the Solomon Islands. Specialized in gender equality, diversity and inclusion, with extensive expertise in human resources, strategic policy, corporate planning, and enterprise performance measurement. Recognized for strong communication skills and a proven ability to build collaborative partnerships. At the Canada Revenue Agency, I led the Gender Balance Analysis Plus Centre of Expertise and represented Canada as the Gender Balance Champion, for the OECD Forum for Tax Administration, advocating for gender equality on a global scale. As the Gender Equality and Social Inclusion Advisor for the Solomon Islands Inland Revenue Division (IRD), I led the development and implementation of a comprehensive action plan to enhance workforce diversity and establish gender-responsive policies, programs and practices. I also contributed to the development of IRD's Management Development Program, along with key strategic documents, including IRD's Strategic Plan, Annual Report, and corporate policy frameworks and instruments. With a broad background across multiple disciplines, I seek opportunities to leverage my skills and drive meaningful progress in advancing gender equality and inclusion, promoting progressive HR practices, and supporting the modernization of institutions in developing countries.
