A highly numerate development practitioner who has a strong focus on Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) and Education Management Information Systems. Experience in these fields has spanned 20+ years’, working initially as a statistician in the TVET/Higher Education sectors in the UK, and then fifteen years in the international development field. Experience building individual and systems capacity to transform data into meaningful M&E information. A deep understanding of M&E with a focus on Education Sector Planning, School Management, Teacher INSET, School-Based mentoring and EGRA/EGMA studies. Extensive experience developing mobile technology for monitoring systems. Thrives on building counterparts' capacity to engage stakeholders using educational information in the evidence-based planning process. Developed techniques to communicate complex information in simple, informative ways, such as using dashboards, and data visualizations to explain issues at all levels.
