I am an experienced team leader and senior advisor for Ministries of Agriculture, NGOs, farmer organizations and the agro-industry. My work focuses on smallholder farming households’ resilience building in rewarding and sustainable value chains. Many years of working directly with farmers and rural entrepreneurs has enabled me to bring to the table a down-to-earth understanding of the needs and opportunities of rural communities and the urgency for official agriculture institution building to help these opportunities to come to fruition. I have lived in Niger and Zimbabwe for several years and since 1990 in Zambia. I have undertaken short and long-term assignments in 15 countries across Africa. Kindly refer to my CV for details.
