22-year work experience in developing countries: Sub-Saharan Africa, (English- and French-speaking), The Maghreb, Haiti, South America and Eastern Europe), providing advice to government institutions and private sector firms on the development of new policies & strategies and transformational change projects/programmes, and conducting institutional strengthening & capacity building programs in the fields of climate change (adaptation & mitigation), climate finance and sustainable land management. Extensive work experience with multilateral development banks, international development agencies, and intergovernmental organizations: The World Bank, The Commonwealth, KfW, GIZ, BMUB, AfDB, UNDP, UNFCCC, USAID, AFD, CIDA, SCI, etc.
