I am a global health and development executive with 25+ years of experience across the sectors in advancing technology and business model innovation for humanitarian impact. I was formerly a Deputy Director on the Nutrition team at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF), leading their investment portfolio in nutrition product innovations. Prior to BMGF, I was on the executive team of a social enterprise start-up that upcycled by-product from coffee milling operations into a nutritious food ingredient for worldwide markets. Earlier in my career, I worked at PATH, a global health NGO, where I led commercialization and introduction of a wide range of technology innovations, including a global rice fortification program and a technology accelerator for local entrepreneurs. I am an expert in building public-private partnerships and multisector alliances to advance innovations for furthering our collective global health and development goals.
