Moses Okech is an International Development Specialist and comes with over 16 years’ experience and profound expertise in livelihoods, financial inclusion (VSLA Methodology and Banking); market systems and agricultural value chain development; digital finance; monitoring and evaluation; project planning and management, Teaching and research. Most recent research conducted include; (i) Volunteering through skills acquisition and employability by refugee youth in Uganda; (ii) Market System Assessment on Household Resilience and Economic Recovery for ACDI/VOCA’s Resilience Wealth Agriculture and Nutrition in Uganda (RWANU) programme in Karamoja; (iii).Agricultural Value Chain Assessment for Rice, Maize and Soybean in Eastern Uganda for GIZ and (iv) Three studies on (a) Backsliding, Resilience and Sustainable Poverty Reduction in Uganda; (b) Building Resilience and Adaptation to Climate Extremes and Disasters (BRACED); and (c) Policy guide on social protection to prevent impoverishment, for the Chronic Poverty Advisory Network (CPAN) for Overseas Development Institute (ODI), London.
