A Senior Legal Counsel at the African Legal Support Facility (ALSF) hosted by the African Development Bank (AfDB), with sixteen years of experience in the legal field. I have served as a Lecturer in International Law at the University of Zambia, where I also served in various administrative roles including Head of Department (Public Law), Assistant Dean (Undergraduate) and Assistant Dean (Research). I was also a Member of the Senate of the University of Zambia. I also worked as an International Legal Consultant for the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO). Additionally, I have experience as a legislative draftsperson, having recently drafted a Statutory Instrument to enforce Section 30 of the Mines and Minerals Act No. 11 of 2015. Furthermore, I have provided legal consultancy on various projects funded by USAID and DFID in Eastern and Southern Africa. I hold a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Law and am qualified to practice law in Zambia.
