Summary

I have over 40 years of experience in international development - developing, administering, managing, and monitoring projects and programs in various sectors in some 30 countries across Asia & The South Pacific, Africa, South America & The Caribbean, and of course in Canada. Recent consultancies include workshops in pedagogical leadership; a 28-month assignment in Papua New Guinea as Project Management Advisor for a project supporting out-of-school youth; a feasibility study for the African Development Bank on "Enhancing the Pedagogical Skills of University Teachers in Africa;" and Team Leader for an operational review of the distance education function of the Distance Education Office of a Primary Health Care Nursing Practitioner Program run by a consortium of nine Universities in the Province of Ontario, Canada, under the auspices of the Council of Ontario Universities. The consortium offered an online common curriculum BSc degree in Nursing. In 2017, I completed a desk study on transnational education for an agency of the Australian government. Also acted for a year as an international expert observer on a CARICOM Tertiary Education Working Group looking into reform and harmonization issues in tertiary education in the Caribbean region.
