Summary

Ehigiator Samson Gold is an experienced public health analyst, statistician, and Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) specialist. He currently works as a Health Supply Chain Analyst at mSupply Foundation, where he plays a crucial role in monitoring health supply chains in Nigeria, providing technical support, facilitating training sessions for stakeholders, deploying warehouse management information system (mSupply) software, and developing state’s dashboards across the 36+1 states in Nigeria. He has successfully led and supported multiple health supply chain and M&E projects, including designing and developing dashboards for mSupply-supported states and overseeing complex data validation processes. Notable contributions include improving Service Level Agreement (SLA) compliance and leading post-LMCU assessment data validation efforts. He is adept at managing relationships with key stakeholders and international partners such as UNICEF and The Global Fund to improve health systems performance through evidence-based data analysis. For instance, from 2019 to 2023, he was instrumental in providing technical assistance to NPSCMP in monitoring logistics data and ensuring high-quality data entry and reporting through Nigeria Health Logistics Management Information System (NHLMIS) to improve stock movement and reduce expiries, developing state-specific advocacy packs based on state health system strengthening (SHSS) maturity assessment and engagement with stakeholders, trained assessors in the LMCU assessment, developed Annual LMCU assessment reports to be shared with internal and external stakeholders for decision making, facilitated in rollout to states activities on the use of Logistic and supply chain platform(NHLMIS), developed and updated program -specific Monitoring and Evaluation Standard Operating Procedures and executed Service Level Agreement (SLA) analysis, ensuring compliance and identifying areas for improvement to meet performance target. His analytical abilities and leadership skills have significantly contributed to strengthening the health system and optimizing stock management in Nigeria. Additionally, his work with UN Volunteers and the Society for Family Health (SFH) focused on using Microsoft Power BI and Excel to develop comprehensive data visualization dashboards that enhanced stakeholder engagement and reporting outcomes. He is committed to advancing the quality of health systems through data-driven approaches and capacity building.
