Fabris is a seasoned project manager, specialist in monitoring and evaluation, accountability and learning (MEAL), with more than eleven years’ experience, including experience in managing teams and project coordination. He is familiar with various donors’ funded programs management and MEAL procedures such as USAID, World Bank, EU, DFID, GIZ, etc. He is now the M&E Manager for Global Climate Change Alliance plus (GCCA+) West Africa for Expertise France, funded by EU and office-based in ECOWAS Regional Agency for Agriculture and Food (RAAF). He is instrumental in strategically designing and implementing programs and MEAL systems, including CLA approach, for other USG and bilateral donor funded emergency and development projects including WASH projects. During his career, he has conducted and piloted several program evaluations in areas like WASH, agriculture and food security, nutrition, microfinance, rural enterprises, education, and local governance, climate change policies (NDCs, MRV, climate finance.), etc. Mr. Compaore worked at the Ministry of Agriculture’s agricultural statistics office in Burkina Faso as a statistician where he was in charge of survey design, implementation and analysis, and promoted the use of mobile technology and scaled-up data collection in daily routine monitoring and annual surveys involving more than one hundred field users. Mr. Compaoré is a specialist of sampling methodologies in program evaluation and holds a statistics background and a Master in Public Economics and Applied Statistics from the Institute for Empirical Research in Political Economics.
