PMP) and Bachelor’s (Hons.) Degree in Construction Management (B.Sc CPM Pr Eng), with more than 26 years of professional experience, managing mega-projects, (EPC-Engineering, Procurement and Construction) contracts for water and transport infrastructures, in the Sub-Sahara (SADC) region in Africa. Professional experience with both private and public organizations, managing FIDIC-framework contracts, funded by donors and international funding agencies, such as, KFW Development Bank, The World Bank, European Development Fund, AfDB-African Development Bank and EXIM-China Import and Export Bank. Managed and coordinated projects for water and transport infrastructures, such as, (rural, city, national roads and storm-water drainage structures and systems, highways, bridges, dams resevours and water resources, portable drinking water supply and distribution networks, water supply pump stations, sanitation, sewerage networks, pumping stations, waste-water treatment plants, agricultural farming irrigation schemes, WASH-Water, Sanitation and Hygiene programs). Coordination of works and team tasks supervision on activities, such as, engineering feasibility studies, concept designs and detailed project designs, elaboration and reviews of tender documentation, project procurement monitoring on defined bidding procedures and rules, evaluations of bidders proposals and elaboration of reports with recommendations for contract awards, contracts awards negotiations with successful bidders, construction supervision, detailed project designs reviews, contracts management and administration, management of defects liability period, elaboration, reviews and monitoring of Operational and Maintenance Manuals and Plans for the newly built infrastructures. Organizing and moderating of capacity building workshops (transfer of knowledge) to the beneficiaries of investments and institutional strengthening of entities. Monitoring and Evaluations. Projects monitoring of output and performance based contracts.
