I am a seasoned evaluation expert and policy analyst with extensive experience delivering evidence-based solutions to decision-makers in academia, government, civil society and private companies in Mexico and the United States. My expertise results from combining a strong analytic background in the social sciences with more than ten years of practice managing projects and programs related to human services; and conducting monitoring and evaluation activities in environmental resource conservation, policies to address discrimination and violence in the workplace, social impact assessments and mitigation plans, government intervention in conflict-ridden areas, and the quality of energy distribution services. For the Open Government Partnership, I have been monitoring and evaluating the Mexican government's performance with regards to commitments to promote transparency, empower citizens, fight corruption and improve democratic governance. I recently evaluated the Global Development Network's policy-relevant research capacity-building program in Latin America and am currently working with USAID to assess data sources and indicators relevant to corruption and anti-corruption in order to inform the strategic decisions and programming of the Agency's Mexico Office for Integrity and Transparency. My leadership capabilities have been nurtured by a significant experience as a teacher and learning facilitator (that spans more than a decade and includes higher education institutions in Mexico and the United States), my international record in stakeholder engagement and partnership development, and a proven commitment to community service.
