Holds two Masters Degrees: one in Latin American Studies from Georgetown University (Washington D.C.) and a Second one in Political Science from the University of Chicago. Certified Trainer from the United Nations Staff College in Turin-Italy. Has a Certificate from Harvard University/J.F.K School of Government for Leadership in Development to Manage Political & Economic Reform. Taught undergraduate and graduate courses at various universities in the United States, Europe and Latin America.
