Gordon is a highly experienced public health professional with 35 years of international experience in the fields of fund management, health system strengthening, governance, coordination, evaluation, programme planning, health service delivery and quality of care. His public health background includes expertise in HIV/AIDS, maternal health, sexual and reproductive health, immunisation, nutrition, communicable and non-communicable diseases. Gordon has held senior management positions across different sectors including governments, funding agencies, NGOs and the private sector in Latin America, Asia and Africa and has extensive team leader experience over the past 15 years on short and long-term assignments. Of note is his experience in fund management, the implementation of Basic Packages of Health and the strengthening of Health Systems in fragile and conflict-affected states.
