Water and Sanitation Specialist with over 25 years experience in urban and rural water supply in Sub Saharan Africa. I have worked on institutional development and restructuring of the sector and reform of urban water utilities by supporting the development of autonomous and sustainable service provision institutions. This includes the development of sector policies and strategies. Trained as an urban and regional planner and worked extensively on Informal settlement development planning and service provision. I have a clear understanding of the challenges and opportunities in Kenya and sub Saharan Africa.In Kenya have worked on informal settlements in all major urban centers Nairobi, Mombasa, Kisumu, Malindi and Eldoret on water and sanitation and overall slum upgrading issues. My regional and country experience extends from Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Ethiopia, Senegal, Nigeria and South Sudan.
