With over a decade of professional experience, I am a civil engineer with extensive expertise in various construction fields, including road building (supervising more than 44 km of asphalt and concrete roads), residential construction (over 60 houses supervised), and reservoir construction for residential areas, including water source identification. My experience also includes supervising steel and concrete structures and tunnel lining, particularly in hydropower projects, where I am currently engaged. My most significant experience has been with the 80MW Regional Rusumo Falls Hydroelectric Power Project, where I oversaw all civil works, from the dam, tunnel lining, powerhouse, and switchyard, from excavation to commissioning. Additionally, I was involved in constructing concrete tower foundations for 110kV & 220kV transmission lines, connecting the dam, powerhouse, and switchyard. Beyond this, I have over seven years of experience managing large-scale projects with various companies. My expertise spans project planning, design, and management of hydraulic structures, powerhouses, and support infrastructure. I also have substantial experience in the installation and commissioning of hydraulic and power-generating equipment, financial control (approving IPCs, forecasting costs to completion), FIDIC implementation, and document management. Currently, I am contributing to the 49.5MW Jiji-Mulembwe Hydropower Project as the Resident Civil Engineer for Substations and Transmission Lines (220kV & 110kV). My role includes overseeing the construction of five substations (Kabezi, RN1, Jiji, Mulembwe, and Horezo). In addition to my technical expertise, I possess strong proficiency in software tools such as MS Office applications, Outlook 365, and AutoCAD. I have also developed specialized skills in soil testing, compaction, and concrete mix designs. Fluent in English, French, Kinyarwanda, and Kirundi, I have honed excellent communication and managerial skills, allowing me to collaborate effectively with international donors (World Bank, government representatives, project managers, NGOs, and community stakeholders). My early managerial experience has fostered adaptability, composure under pressure, strong attention to detail, and a results-driven mindset in dynamic environments. Regional Experience: Burundi: July 2022 – Present Tanzania: February 2017 – July 2022 Rwanda: June 2015 – July 2022 Burundi: Until June 2015
