John has 30 years of experience as a Chief of Party and MEL Specialist on international development and research projects in the Middle East, Central Asia, SE Asia, West and Eastern Africa, and Central and Eastern Europe. While he specialized in leading MEL/CLA and stabilization projects for USAID, he has also led projects for other USG entities (DOS, DOD, U.S. Army), the UN, the EC, FCDO and over a dozen corporate clients. Fields in which he has experience include DRG, civil society, CIVMIL, P/CVE, CTIP, anti-corruption, law reform, legislative strengthening, community infrastructure reconstruction, WASH, environment, health, food scarcity, psychosocial counseling, education, livelihoods, economic development, market research, value chain, market systems approach, gender, youth, and victims' assistance. John is used to living and working in transition and conflict affected countries.
