I am a graduate Civil Engineer, and Project Manager, and have worked both in the Public Sector in the Vanuatu Government, and the Private Sector as a Consultant. During my time as Director of Public Works Department and Director General of the Ministry of Infrastructure & Public Utilities, I have gained and shown technical skills relevant to the role such as program management, stakeholder liaison, contract management, financial management and/or analytical skills. The duties and functions of both Director and Director General covers all these aspects. I have very good written and oral communication skills, and have produced high quality briefings to the Government and Departments or Public, and have build a very good working relationship with Ministries, departments, Public, Donor Partners and other Stakeholders. In the ministry and Public Works Department, I have established what I termed “Team Work” or “Pull long wan rope” to accomplished our business plans and set targets.
