I am a National Development Consultant with over 9 years' experience of working on Social and economic development issues linked to Climate change and natural resources in Papua New Guinea. My work has focused on linking national and subnational policies and programmes with international mechanisms to support natural resource governance in the country. Within this I have provided support to national government Key and relevant Government Department Departments, Sub- National Level Government, NGOs and the private sector in the development, implementation processes, and governance and financial management structures. In particular my work has focused on Oil Palm Platforms, Environment and Sustainability, climate change and forest governance, supporting both the development of a global mechanism on Reduced Emissions from Deforestation and Degradation (REDD+) and country approached to it. In additions I have worked on developing approached to assessing forest governance through UNDP FCPF and the key Government Implementers in Papua New Guinea. My field experience covers only in Papua New Guinea with long-term placements and short-term technical consultancies. I have worked with all Key Government Departments and Authorities, NGO's and development partners. My field-based experience is complemented by the strong desk based research.
