Development professional with 15 years experience of working in the rapidly developing economies of Southeast Asia (including The Philippines, Vietnam and Cambodia), East-Central Africa (Uganda), Central America (Nicaragua) and Europe (Montenegro and Croatia) specializing in the field of tourism, sustainable development and poverty reduction. Managed and coordinated tourism development projects from different sources (Lux-Development, SNV, AECID and United Nations). Provided technical assistance and capacity-building services to public and private sector clients. This has included the Ministry of Tourism of Cambodia, the Uganda Tourism Board, Responsible Tour Operators in Vietnam and tourism MSMEs. Participated in large-scale, multi-country tourism programmes in the Greater Mekong Sub-region (GMS) and Asian regional level Pro-Poor Sustainable Tourism meetings. Strong focus on supporting and encouraging the collaboration and participation of the tourism industry private sector at all stages of the projects.
