Katherine is an Environmental Scientist with 30 years-experience gained in consultancy and public service. Katherine works in the field of climate adaptation, blue economy, marine and coastal policy and management, flood risk, natural resource planning, climate finance, capacity building and institutional strengthening. Katherine has worked in many different countries and operates globally. With a scientific background, Katherine often gets called upon to provide consultant support in Capacity Building exercises geared towards assisting Ministries, Agencies and the more technical delivery arms of Governments. Katherine is on the UNDP Expert Rosters for Climate Change and Resilience (Africa) and for Governance and Peace-building (Africa). She served on the Audit & Risk Committee and Professional Standards Committee of the Chartered Institute of Ecology & Environmental Management (CIEEM).
