I am a US citizen with approxmately 35 years' experience in international development with an emphasis on social change. I have program experience in multiple areas, including democratic governance, civil society development, peacebuilding/conflict mitigation, climate change, evaluations, natural resources management, and family planning. My skill sets include team leadership, senior project management, program development, public-private partnerships, multi-stakeholder forums, mechanisms of local engagement (ownership, leadership, capacity building), grants management, brokering and networking, outreach & education, program operations. I have worked in residence in the countries of Indonesia, Senegal, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, and Thailand. I have work on assignment in several other countries including Bangladesh, Cambodia, Fiji, India, Jordan, Lao PDR, Nepal, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Turkey, and Vietnam. I am an native English speaker with strong writing and presentation skills. I am also proficient in Thai and Indonesian, with nominal language skils in Chinese (Mandarin) and Lao.
