A consummate international development expert with over 35 years of experience in international development and the private sector. Has extensive experience providing strategic and technical direction to the design, development and implementation of major donorfunded, large-scale agricultural and nutrition focused interventions. A well-respected thought leader in agriculture, entrepreneurship, nutrition and food processing on the African continent, and a regular speaker on issues relating to food security, nutrition, agribusiness and the role of business in development, Larry excels at developing strategies for building and growing businesses, and has worked with governments and international stakeholders across 40 countries in Africa, creating strong business linkages between farmers and the processing industry, and addressing the systemic challenges facing the private and development sectors in economic development activities. He is a senior member of the South African Association of Food Science and Technology (SAAFoST), a fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Food Science and Technology (NIFST), served on the Technical Working Group (TWG) for the preparation of the Medium- Term National Development Plan (MTNDP) 2021 - 2025 and Nigeria Agenda 2050, and currently serves on the Global Advisory Panel of the Micronutrient Forum.
