* Progressive experience in Procurement, Supply chain and Logistics. * Good supplier evaluation and recommendation procedures with excellent knowledge of tendering procedures. * Conversant with Private, Public & NGO sector, inter-alia; Government of Zimbabwe, African Development Bank (AfDB), United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), European Commission (EU), Swedish Government (SIDA), United Kingdom (DfiD), World Bank (WB), Procurement Guidelines/Directives. * Exposure in the procedures of evaluating supplier capacity, reliability and delivery performance, receiving incoming materials, updating stock records, material dispatching, among others. * An honest person who is a team-worker, analytical, able to communicate at all levels, patient, reliable, diligent, fair and consistent, with problem solving and motivation techniques. * Good report writing skills * Able to work in a multicultural environment * Ability to supervise subordinates * Motivated by the desire to put theory into practice, the need to employ problem solving into practical/business issues. * Possess CIPS Professional Diploma in Purchasing & Supply (UK), Higher National Diploma in Purchasing & Supply Chain Management (HEXCO, ZIM) * Full Member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply (UK) (MCIPS) * Highest academic qualification - Master's Degree in Public Procurement Law & Policy [LLM, University of Nottingham (UK, 2022)] * Computer Literate (MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and a good "O" Level base. * Software: Sage Evolution, SAP, CORE COMPETENCIES & SKILLS * Proven ability to conceptualise, innovative, plan and execute ideas as well as transfer knowledge and skills. * Ability to express clearly and concisely, ideas and concepts in written and oral forms. * Ability to convey complex matters and make recommendations at senior levels. * Ability to make timely decisions and pro-actively identify potential risks. * Leadershipability to supervise and direct a team of professional and support staff. * Communicationgood analytical and negotiating skills. * Knowledge of MAPS Indicators for assessment of country procurement systems * Team workstrong interpersonal skills and ability to establish and maintain effective working relations with customers (internal and external), suppliers and other people in a multi-cultural, multi-ethnic environment with sensitivity and respect for diversity. * Technology awarenessfully proficient skills, particularly in MS Word, Excel and internet applications.
