I am a respected, dynamic, result oriented and transformative People, Policies &Governance Leader and my aim is to help Humanitarian &Development organizations partner with Governments, to achieve better livelihoods, economies and build resilience, by delivering innovative, strategic, workable people &business solutions through design, development, implementation and evaluation of effective people& governance policies that create high performing partnerships. With more than 18 years of progressive global experience in international development organizations and collaboration with Ministries of health in Africa, I have lead large teams and turned around People and Culture departments into strategic business partners that become an integral part in achieving business objectives. I am an Internationally certified professional workplace Mediator and Trainer, certified Professional of Human Resources International and Society of Human Resources Management Certified Professional and a seasoned and active SPHRi and CHRBP Certifications Trainer, International and local Board Director, Board Evaluator and a Transformative leader. Further to the above, I am a Fellow at the American Academy of Project Management ( AAPM), a member of the Kenya Institute of Directors Kenya (IoD-K), The Institute of Human Resources Management (IHRM), The Kenya Institute of Management (KIM), MTI East Africa and Karen Toastmasters. My demonstrated competencies include; Organizational Development and governance, excellent Talent Management, negotiation & mediation skills, ability to provide clear & objective advice, direction &recommendations, ability to manage& maintain sensitive and confidential information, an excellent analyst of data & the ability to multitask. With my vast professional training and experience in East, West, Central, Southern Africa and USA and last but not least love for books, I am a highly effective communicator with excellent inter and intra personal skills; I work well with individuals at all levels from different cultural backgrounds.
