Summary

I am a Land Governance Specialist with 20 years of experience working on rural and urban land and natural resources governance with a particular focus on securing customary, IPLC and informal tenure rights. I spent the first 15 years of my career in the United Nations with progressively increasing strategic, administrative and managerial responsibilities. Currently, the focus of my work is to create an enabling environment for increased tenure security for customary and informal land rights holders. I advise Governments on how to improve tenure governance frameworks’ inclusiveness and responsiveness to changing citizens’ needs; and I work with communities, public and private investors to identify pathways for sustainably increasing right holders’ tenure security using participatory mapping, Fit-for-Purpose Land Administration and Geotechnologies. Helping formulate and write fit-for-purpose policies, programmes, strategies and projects is my passion and the understanding I have of diverse donors, countries, organizations and partners is my main asset.
