Mamadou OUATTARA

Mr. Mamadou OUATTARA is a Project Coordinator, Expert in Planning, Monitoring-Evaluation and Learning. With more than 21 years of experience in development sectors (Agriculture, Health, Environment, microfinance, Decentralization, water and sanitation, etc.) in Africa, Mr. OUATTARA has participated in the implementation of several projects on the continent. With a portfolio of $ 18 million, including $ 2 million for his directorate, Mr. OUATTARA is currently working on a regional water and sanitation project (Benin and Cote d'Ivoire) to support municipalities in these countries to appropriate the skills transferred to the WASH ( Water Sanitation and Hygiene) sector. Previously, Mr. OUATTARA was responsible for monitoring and evaluation for the International Union for the Conservation of Nature (IUCN) in Burkina Faso where he worked in close collaboration with communities to strengthen water resources management capacities. .During his career, Mr. OUATTARA has held several positions of progressive responsibility at the Headquarters of Water and Sanitation for Africa (Ex CREPA), acting as Director of programs and fundraising, Associate Director, Head of Planning and Monitoring & Evaluation Department, Responsible for gender, capacity building and knowledge management. In these roles, he coordinated regional and national projects, executed budgets from different donors (Bilateral Cooperation, United Nations Systems, African and European Integration Institutions, Development Bank, Foundations, etc.), supervised teams in multicultural environments, managed multi- stakeholder contracts, strengthened the capacities of different partners, planned, Mr. OUATTARA remains an active Manager in the development sectors always keeping himself informed of the issues and challenges relating to equitable growth in Africa. Drawing on his technical expertise and his vast network of connections in the world of consultancy and humanitarian aid, Mr. OUATTARA remains available to serve anywhere in Africa with a preference for countries with French as an official language. Mr. OUATTARA holds a Masters in Management Science option Project Management and a Masters in Social Sciences option Sociology.
