Marcelo Castrillo

With extensive experience in enhancing the performance of health systems and programs through research, monitoring, and learning, I specialize in program management and organizational evaluations for both national and international initiatives. My expertise lies in applying scientific methodologies to design performance and impact evaluations, as well as conducting operations research. This includes formulating hypotheses and evaluation questions, defining dependent and independent variables, establishing sampling frames, developing data collection instruments, and crafting analysis plans. My focus areas encompass reproductive health programs, HIV/AIDS, and integrated management of childhood illnesses. I possess competencies in program management, quality of care enhancement, and strengthening linkages among communities, government bodies, and the private sector at both national and local levels. My aim is to improve access to quality health services for vulnerable and marginalized populations.
