Experienced business finance professional with over 15 years of progressive hands on experience in Accounting, Reporting, Budgeting and budget monitoring, analysis of financial information for decision making, Procurement, Audit and New business development. I have an all-round solid experience in business management of private sector (FMCG-Nestle), Government (Audit) and, grants management cycle in International Non-Government Organizations. Skilled in managing and implementing donor funding including USAID grants, Canadian Grants, European Union (EU), Germany Foreign Ministry (GFM); and UN agencies (UNICEF, UNHCR, WHO, UNDP, FAO, UNFPA and WFP). Able to manage both livelihood (Including food Security) and emergency programs. Have skills in partners' capacity building and ability to handle grants reporting from design, data collection, summarizing, recording, analysis and interpretation for decision making. Also experienced in team leadership, coaching and training to enhance capacities for realizing grant/contract deliverables. I have skills in programs budget monitoring and working with sub grantees and subcontractors to ensure sound implementation of programs within the donor guidelines and organizational procedures. I am skilled in proposal writing especially in the budgeting process. I have practical hands-on experience in the management of the procurement process. I integrate with ease in multicultural settings while developing healthy relations with stakeholders at different levels of the organizational spectrum. I have a mastery of the Accounting lifecycle from design through to reporting processes. I am computer literate with excellent hands-on experience working with MS office applications. I have good communication skills, using English, French and Swahili as working languages. Well conversant with East and Central Africa and Sahel region.
