My current employment within the UN system as well as previous positions outside of the UN system, coupled with my academic studies, offer a range of skills complementary to humanitarian and developmental work. In my present role with the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) Gaza Field Office, I am responsible for the food security portfolio, including in relation to emergency preparedness and response. I am comfortable working in diverse cultural settings with colleagues of varying ages and different nationalities. I am also at ease working within a team and independently without supervision to tight deadlines. I speak English, French and Italian fluently, have a working knowledge of Spanish, and have studied Arabic language. In all my professional experience I have developed the ability to foster networks and relationships. I am an experienced decision maker and knowledgeable in the delivery of services to refugees and persons-in-need across a range of areas.
