He has a passion for shaping the way markets work, and transforming the way poor people participate in and access markets. A strategic thinker with strong communication, facilitation and networking skills, Mehrdad has extensive experience in the areas of adaptive management, development research, policy and practice. With experience spanning 27 years, Mehrdad has worked to build the capacity of a range of businesses, business membership organizations, public agencies, regulators and nonprofits throughout East and Southern Africa. Mehrdad is well versed in the range of challenges facing SMEs in entering and participating in large-scale supply chains.
