I manage daily IT business operations for multiple business lines within the Canadian Federal Government at the department of Immigration. Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). I manage a multidisciplinary team ( 128 employees and 12 consultants) as well many IT business lines such as Passport delivery database, Grant and contribution application and the global case management system – GCMS. I am a results-oriented leader with over 15 years’ experience in developing and implementing a vision and strategic plan for information technology management and ensures compliance with government’s information management policies and standards. This includes the three years Transformation Information Resource Management Plan that launched by the department. Also, I oversee accountability for disaster recovery, business continuation plans, information technology budgets, security, e-services, business architecture, ministry applications, and information technology infrastructure.
