Over the last ten years I have worked primarily been in the field of climate change adaptation in the water, agriculture, energy and livelihoods development sectors across Africa with an interest in supporting pro-poor economies. In recent years, I have increasingly taken on project management roles and I have drawn on the task and resource management experience gained through my graduate study and various positions including research team leader and training manager on several evidence- based research, evaluation and capacity building projects. I am an exceptional communicator and collaborator with experience in partnerships with various stakeholders. I have a solid base of experience, passion and dedication in the higher education system having contributed to training and development of several high-level projects on climate change adaptation in the region.In my previous role as programme manager for SVA I led all training initiatives, have organised a large number of training and consultation events. I have also worked as a researcher at University of Cape Town and for the Stockholm Environmental Institute (SEI), primarily on water and environmental justice issues. I hold a PhD and Masters from University of Cape Town, and a BA from National University of Lesotho. I am seeking consulting work and would consider a full time position.
