I am a Certified Public Accountant (CPA No: FM2479) with experience and training in Finance, Accounting and Strategic Leadership. I have over fifteen years' experience in not-for-profit sector. My competences include financial systems design and strengthening, budgeting, planning & monitoring, statutory and special audits, fraud investigation, treasury management, donor grants/contracts and donor relationship management, capacity building in finance and accounting, providing financial advisory services and developing finance policies. I have managed multiple-donor budgets to the tune of USD 1 - 30 million per annum and am familiar with various donor funding guidelines including USAID, NORAD and UN Agencies I have knowledge of the supply chain best practices with skills in Procurement, fleet management, and construction contracts. I have been exposed to corporate risk management in addition to financial risk management. I have worked in multi-cultural/international NGOs, including Africare, Danish Refugee Council, Save the Children International, Mothers 2 Mothers International and as a consultant providing financial management support to local NGOs. I have a good knowledge of the international finance, accounting and audit standards, the local financial management and statutory financial requirements of organizations in the private and not for profit sectors and their application. I am familiar with GAAP and IFRS and proficient in the use of accounting software including QuickBooks, NAVISION, Sage Pastel, FFS, ACCPAC-Sage, Citrix AGRESSO, Serenic Navigator Dynamics and data analytics.
