Education Specialist with significant national and international professional experience since 1985; possess the diverse skills-mix, expertise, and inter-disciplinary qualifications in the area of social sector/education project designing, development, project management as team leader / CTA, M&E design and development, EMIS, teacher education/training, policy formulation, analysis/development, capacity assessment, capacity building / professional development training, social sector research, survey, data analysis, and social sciences research methodology. Consulting experience in the conflict, post-conflict, and emerging economies (Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Cambodia, Nepal, Pakistan, Vietnam, Zambia) with special reference to primary/basic education, secondary education, teacher education, TVET skills development, public financial management reforms, management of HE institutions and policy formulation (Population Policies of Pakistan 2002, 2017). Preparation of an integrated national Action Plan along with a Theory of Change and the Results-Based M&E Evaluation. Prior to Freelance consulting on numerous education sector projects /TA projects (funded by The World Bank, ADB, EU, USAID) earlier during the 1985-2005 period, have worked with the Government of Pakistan (in senior positions), and as a Consultant with The World Bank (Washington, DC) and Harvard Institute for International Development - HIID. Currently continue to consult as an independent education consultant.
