Summary

I am an independent writer and researcher, and University Associate with the University of Tasmania. I also work in international climate policy for the Department of Climate Change, Energy, Environment and Water in the International Climate and Energy Division. My passion lies in community-led change for sustainability, climate, and wellbeing; and understanding how that intersects with international policy approaches. My PhD research looked at the Latin American concept of Buen Vivir as an alternative to Sustainable Development, developing a community-led framework for implementation. In 2020, I published my first book 'Buen Vivir as an Alternative to Sustainable Development: Lessons from Ecuador'. I am keen for consulting/freelance and collaboration opportunities. I am always open to new opportunities as well.
