With over 20 years of experience in the energy sector, I specialize in renewable energy, climate change adaptation, and sustainable investment. I hold a Master’s in Energy Transition from the University of Groningen and have furthered my expertise at Harvard Business School and Stanford University in sustainable investing and energy innovation. Throughout my career, I have successfully managed complex energy projects, leading over 35 renewable initiatives under Net Metering and Feed-in-Tariff schemes, resulting in 22 MW of solar and wind capacity. I have also developed more than 50 feasibility studies for renewable energy projects. My expertise extends to working with key international organizations such as the EU, UNDP, EBRD, JICA, GEF, GCF, and EIB, managing projects with a combined budget of approximately 38 million EUR. Currently, I serve as Project Manager for Solidarity Fund PL in Moldova, leading the EU4 Moldova Resilience – Secure State, Resilient Communities project, overseeing strategic planning, budget management, and procurement processes. My previous roles include Technical Expert at UNDP, National Coordinator for UNIDO’s GCIP Program, and International Programs Manager at Tekwill, where I focused on investment projects, accelerator programs, and sustainability initiatives. My core competencies include PMP methodologies, Agile and Hybrid project management, investment project preparation and appraisal, and stakeholder engagement. I am fluent in English, Romanian, Russian, and Spanish and have professional experience across Germany, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Tajikistan, and the USA. I have contributed to international green transition projects, including Comprehensive Green Transition Assessments for Armenia, Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine, and have played a pivotal role in shaping EU policies as a National Contact Point for the Horizon Europe Framework Programme. My work aligns with global sustainability goals, including Agenda 2030 and the Paris Agreement, ensuring impactful contributions to the energy transition and climate resilience sectors.
